Pickleball coming to Sierra Verde Park?

The City of Glendale has funds available to make improvements to the Sierra Verde Park, located at 71st Ave & Arrowhead Loop Road. One of the options they are considering is the addition of lighted pickle ball courts.

Dollar Tree opens new location & one more coming

Dollar Tree has opened a new location at 67th Ave & Bell Road, in the old Chuck E. Cheese space.

There is also news that Dollar Tree will be opening another location here in Arrowhead Ranch, at 67th Ave & Beardsley, in the old space occupied by the 99 Cents Only store, next door to Ace Hardware.

FOOD NEWS

Yogi’s Grill coming to Arrowhead in July

Local favorite Yogi’s grill is opening another location on Bell Road, just east of 75th Ave. Learn more about this location and see their menu.

EVENTS

Park West announces After Dark Market

In addition to it’s monthly farmers market on the third Saturday of the month, Park West is now hosting a nighttime market on the first Saturday of the month through September. The next market will be August 3rd from 6-9pm

VALLEY NEWS

VAI Resorts has purchased 8.25 acres to be used for construction of a parking garage near its resort. The property is located near the northwest corner of Montebello and 91^st avenues

Downtown Glendale is getting a new hotel. LivSmart Studios, part of the Hilton brand of hotels, will be constructing its first location in Arizona on land owned by the City of Glendale near 57th Avenue & Glendale Avenue.
