Happy Friday, I hope you enjoyed the weather this week as it looks like we’re stepping directly into winter for the next week or so. Not that winter in Phoenix is a bad thing 😎

A bit of an abbreviated newsletter this week, but we are cooking up some big things, including a major update on construction and business happenings in & around Arrowhead, plus a holiday event page that will have info on all of the best events happening over through the end of the year. 🎄

Babbo Italian Eatery, at 67th Ave & Beardsley, hosted their grand opening event yesterday to celebrate the completion of the expansion & remodel of their Arrowhead location. The space is beautiful and the food was excellent, be sure to check out next week’s episode of the Everything Arrowhead Podcast to hear from owner Charlotte Pollack.

We’ll be doing a gift card giveaway, plus jars of Babbo’s own brand of pasta sauces.

The November 4 Special Bond Election ended with mixed results for the city of Glendale — with narrow leads in both cases. While bond authority Question 1 was passed at 53%, Question 2 was rejected at a margin less than 1%.

After our initial discussion about the new flock cameras coming to Phase 1 of Arrowhead Ranch on the Everything Arrowhead Podcast, there was some heated debate about the topic in the Everything Arrowhead Facebook Group, and admittedly, there were some people pointing out I wasn’t fully informed on how the cameras were to be used. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The answer was: Bisbee

Tombstone Canyon is the main road and historic district running through Bisbee. The canyon is lined with colorful hillside homes, old miners’ shacks, art galleries, and cafés that reflect Bisbee’s transformation from a 19th-century copper mining town into a quirky, artsy mountain community.

Meet Andy

Andy is a happy boy! He is definitely a velcro dog! He needs to know where you are at all times. He prefers to be on a lap and if he sees an open one he is there in a flash. Did we mention he is fast?? His foster says his name should be Zippy! When he isn't in a lap he is zipping around the house. He likes dogs of all sizes. He lived with a cat previously. He was surrendered to us because his previous owner believes he was allergic to her cat. He was getting allergy shots to help. We took him to the vet right away. He was treated for a skin infection and we switched his food. He already looks better. So, with that said we do not know if it was a cat allergy (no cats in foster home) or food/skin infection. Either way he looks great!

Andy is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped.

Andy 1 year old and weighs 9.4 pounds.
