After spending a couple hours at the new Andretti Indoor Karting facility near Westgate with my father & my son, we came outside to a hot summer sun and an even hotter car.
In search of relief, we headed over to the new location of HTeaO, which is their first in the State of Arizona. This popular iced tea chain has many across Texas & the midwest.
HTeaO offers a menu that features over 20 flavors of sweetened and unsweetened tea, including sweet cherry, mint, coconut and watermelon. The location also offers hot and iced coffee options.
It is a very cool set up, you serve yourself, selecting a tea from a huge row of different tea flavors. There are also different fruit slice choices you can add to your tea, at no extra charge.
My dad & son opted for watermelon flavored tea, I went with some ‘Ryan Palmer’ which is their version of an Arnold Palmer mix of tea & lemonade, plus I added some sweet ginger peach. It was just what we needed!
I’m not a big iced tea connoisseur so I may not be the best judge, but I thought it was very good, and decent value for the money. Unfortunately it is not very close to Arrowhead, so this will be an occasional stop for us if we happen to be in the area. Not sure I’d make a special trip just to visit HTeaO.
