There is a swanky new restaurant at the Park West shopping center, at Northern & the loop 101. Lazy Bird recently opened in the former home of Cabin Whiskey & Grill.
We stopped in for lunch to check out this new spot and have some of their new lunch specials.
They have a very interesting cocktail menu, but being somewhat of responsible adults, we opted to skip cocktails with lunch. I had my eye on the Golden Goose and look forward to giving one a try on my next visit.
They have a great weekday lunch special going right now, which includes several options for $12-14 with a promise of getting you in & out in just 30 minutes, which is ideal for a busy working lunch.
I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich, and Nick had the Chicken Caprese Sandwich.
The portions were not huge, but actually just right for a quick lunch and avoiding that feeling of needing an afternoon nap. The food was good quality and delicious, felt like good value for the money.
We had a great experience and the space was really cool, yeah I wish it was a bit closer to Arrowhead but it isn’t as far as you’d think.
