Not sure why, but I have always had a blind spot to Oggi’s on 67th Avenue & Beardsley.

I’ve been several times before, but I seem to forget about it when the time comes to decide on where to go to eat. It is a bit of a shame too, because the food has been excellent each time I have been there.

I have only been there for lunch, so I have not had any of their house brewed beers, but from the people I have talked to, they are quite good.

For over 30 years, Oggi’s has been crafting award-winning microbrews. With over 60 medals in international, national and regional competitions, Oggi’s is one of the most decorated breweries in the world.

Their California Gold Ale has been winning awards for the past 25 years, so they must be doing something right! They have several other award winning beers, as well. See their full beer menu here.

The day we visited, I had the Blackened Santa Fe Chicken salad, and we split their Ricotta Pizza, which has Ricotta, fresh garlic, basil, & mozzarella with house made garlic olive oil sauce. The salad and the pizza were excellent!

If you’re looking for a sports bar in Arrowhead that isn’t Zipps, Oggie’s is an excellent option, plus it isn’t 100% sports all in your face. They have a nice dining room area where you can still have a conversation without having to yell over loud music.
