Paris Baguette has officially opened at 83rd Ave & Bell Road in Peoria, and it’s already shaping up to be a go-to spot for pastries and coffee in the area. On a recent visit, I picked up a chocolate croissant, a chocolate chip croissant twist, and a croissant donut filled with orange zest cream cheese, and each one delivered that light, flaky texture you want from a good bakery.
The chocolate croissant was rich without being overly sweet, the twist had just the right balance of buttery layers and chocolate in every bite, and the standout was the croissant donut, with a bright citrusy filling that cut through the sweetness and made it feel a little more unique than your typical pastry.
The croissant donut was the clear favorite of my family. I may go back again today and get another one!!!
It is a very simple set up, grab a tray & liner, plus some tongs and help yourself to the items in the cases, then head to the counter to order drinks.
If you’re in the Arrowhead area and looking for a quick breakfast stop or an afternoon treat, Paris Baguette is definitely worth checking out.
