Restaurant Review: Sizzle Korean Barbeque

I had never been to a Korean BBQ restaurant before. To be honest, I was a bit intimidated by the whole ‘cooking at your table’ thing and instead of learning what it was all about, I just never went.

Sizzle Korean BBQ just opened their third location, which is on the south side of the main entrance to the Arrowhead Town Center.

Having never been, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew there would be a grill station at each table, but I assumed we would be cooking our own meats. They will allow you to cook for yourself, but they prefer to let the waitperson do the preparation for you. I think this worked out best, as it allowed us to enjoy our lunch, instead of dealing with what to cook next & for how long.

Our combo came with four different types of meet, and the waiter cooked them one by one, which was nice and provided just the right amount of food at just the right pace.

We went with the beef combo and had the brisket, rib eye, marinated short rib, skirt steak & kimchi stew.

This also included a variety of side dishes, which were fantastic. The baked salt took the cuts of beef from good, to amazing!!

Our lunch took about an hour, and it was a lot of food, but we didn’t leave feeling like we had just crushed a buffet.

If you are looking for something different or a new dining experience, add Sizzle to your list.

It is on the pricey side, but it is a great meal and perfect for a special occasion.
