It was 118* on Thursday, and I was looking for something different in my attempt to cool off. I’d seen Westy’s on social media and this seemed like a good day to try them out.
Westy’s is located on the northeast corner of 83rd Avenue & Lake Pleasant Road, and is a locally owned 100% organic juice bar & kitchen.

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not a big juice & smoothie guy, and I was up for trying something new and this was just what I needed.
I had ‘The Tropical One’ and it was perfect remedy for a record breaking hot day.
Since I’m not a smoothie connoisseur, I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as pricing is concerned. $13 out the door after tip seemed a bit pricey to me, but this may be the going rate for an organic smoothie drink these days.
I did enjoy the smoothie and I received an education, as I was not aware that they had such a variety of things on their menu, which includes coffee drinks, cold pressed juices, salads & superfood bowls. I will definitely be back to try some of their food.
