Good news for local families, Sierra Verde Park just got a nice refresh from the City of Glendale! The playground area has been completely upgraded with new equipment, giving kids a fun and safer place to play.
The city began the project earlier this year as part of a plan to update older park features. Construction wrapped up recently, and the new playground is now open for everyone to enjoy. The work focused mainly on the play area and nearby lighting, making it easier and safer to use the park in the evening.
If you’re a regular at the park, you’ll be happy to know that the sand volleyball courts and basketball courts haven’t changed, they’re still right where they’ve always been and ready for pickup games.
