Neighborhood Highlight: Tierra Verde at Arrowhead

Did you know that the SIERRA VERDE community here in Arrowhead Ranch was originally approved by the City of Glendale, with the name TIERRA VERDE?

I didn’t either and it blew my mind for a minute when I first discovered it.

Our community has some interesting history, by many questionable characters, including politicians and Detroit mobsters. More on that in another highlight.

While researching the history of Arrowhead Ranch, I came across the original approved general plan for what is now Sierra Verde, but it had the name Tierra Verde.
