It is still 100* as I type this, but fall is definitely in the air here in Arrowhead, and that means it will soon be time to get out and enjoy all of the amazing events that take place once the weather cools.
Pumpkin patches & fall festivals are a big part of that, so I have put together some details on the events near us, or which may be worth a trip to experience.
Pumpkin Days at Tolmachoff Farms
Located in Glendale at 75th Avenue just south of Bethany Home Road, Tolmachoff Farms is the closest opportunity to visit a pumpkin patch. Their activities, which include a pumpkin patch, a mini corn maze & 6 acre corn maze and a petting zoo, are available Wednesday through Sunday, October 1st through October 31st.
No pets are allowed so plan accordingly.

MacDonald’s Ranch
Another option that isn’t too far away is MacDonald’s Ranch in North Scottsdale, located at Scottsdale Road & Jomax Road.
They have many similar activities available, including a pumpkin patch, petting zoo & train rides. Their facility is open all week, but closed on Tuesday, October 4th through October 31st.

Mortimer Farms in Dewey, AZ
If you’re wanting cooler temperatures with your pumpkin patch, Mortimer Farms in Dewey, AZ is a great spot for a day trip. Located on Highway 169 as you head towards Prescott and just 70 miles from Arrowhead Ranch.
The Pumpkin Festival is open everyday September 26th through October 31st.
