Back-to-school season can be stressful for many families, but thanks to Westgate Entertainment District, helping local students get a strong start is as easy as showing up with a backpack.
On Saturday, July 27, from 10 AM to 1 PM, Westgate will host its annual Backpack and School Supply Drive at Fountain Park. All donations will support Title I schools in the Glendale Elementary School District, helping students in need get the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.
Donors are encouraged to bring new backpacks and school supplies such as pencils, folders, notebooks, and crayons. As a thank you, the first 300 people to donate will receive a free Westgate goodie bag.
The event is more than just a donation drop-off. It’s also a fun, family-friendly celebration. Guests can enjoy:

A visit from Big Red, the Cardinals’ beloved mascot
