July is here, and Glendale is celebrating National Park and Recreation Month in a big way! Since 1985, the National Recreation and Parks Association has dedicated this month to recognizing the importance of parks for community health and wellness.
Glendale is embracing this tradition with a full calendar of free events designed for families, individuals, and even dog lovers.
🌳 Why Glendale’s Parks Matter
Glendale’s Parks and Recreation Department is powered year-round by full-time, part-time, and seasonal teams. Research shows that easy access to parks helps boost physical activity, improve mental health, and build community. Glendale offers safe, fun spaces that encourage people to move, relax, and connect.
