A new iced tea chain has opened its first location in Arizona, and it is here in Glendale at WestGate. See the full review here.

Just in time for the weekend, Crispy Cones has opened their new location here in Glendale.

Crispý Cones is a sweet treat famous in European countries; including the Czech Republic. A Crispý Cone is a fresh dough cone, grilled rotisserie-style and covered with cinnamon + sugar or a specialty powder. The cone is filled with your choice of spread, gourmet soft-serve ice cream, fruit, and a variety of delicious toppings.

They are located in the same building as Arrowhead Grill at 81st Ave & Union Hills, on the north side of the street. (link & map)

Sick of your HOA?

There is a new website, called HOADoctor.com, launching in August that will be dedicated to leaving reviews for HOA boards & HOA management companies.

I think this is a great concept and will create another level of accountability for HOA boards & board members. I’ll be curious to see if homeowners will use it and if it will provide real value.

Last week’s trivia question was, What are Jack Burden & Romaine Loudermilk of Wickenburg best remembered for? The answer is: They founded the first dude ranch in Wickenburg…😲

Jack Burden and Romaine Loudermilk (sometimes spelled Lowdermilk) are associated with the history of dude ranches in Wickenburg. Romaine Lowdermilk, in particular, was the founder of the Kay El Bar Guest Ranch in the early 1900s. He later became known as a singing cowboy with a radio show and over 100 Western songs.
